About Jorge Jefferds
Jorge Jefferds was born in Santiago of Chile on November 23, 1971. He discovered his passion for literature in an early stage of his childhood. "I remember that a friend of mine, who lived next door, owned a collection of fairy tales with beautiful illustrations. The books were so magic, that being his friend was the excuse to read them." He started to write, however, only a couple of years before he moved to the United States in 2012. He published his first novel called "Paradise-Ville, Volume One: Sanctuary of Death," in 2014. In 2015, he worked for a local newspaper called "Your Small Towne Reader" as a contributing writer. For three months, he published a story named "The Last Years of the Katurka Empire," a historic adventure of a Chinese King in the last days of his reign. Mr. Jefferds' passion is writing, because he thinks that his characters understand him as much as anybody can do. Currently, he lives in Pennsylvania, in the Wilderness that surrounds the Allegheny River. Jorge is also a software engineer, and simultaneous interpreter in Spanish and German.
